Reutlingen Wave
Reutlingen, Germany

In 2003, the computer company Krystaltech Lynx opened a €16 million service and logistics centre in Reutlingen, which is known as the ‘Wave’ due to its distinctive metal and glass shape. The unique building, which is visible from afar, has four floors, all of whose load-bearing walls are made of LAMBERTS LINIT®EcoGlass. They separate the offices and utility rooms from spacious, partly planted inner courtyards, which break up the overall appearance and, together with the diffused daylight, create a pleasant atmosphere. The 11,300 square metre complex is now used for other purposes, as Krystaltech Lynx had to file for bankruptcy in 2006. The building has since been sold and leased several times. In 2019, it was completely renovated and thoroughly modernised. The following year, real estate service provider Advenis Real Estate Solutions purchased the building complex for more than 23 million euros and incorporated it into a French real estate fund. The premises are now used by Robert Bosch GmbH, which has leased the building complex on a long-term basis.
