Faustino Winery

Bodegas Portia is a winery for the famous Faustino Group in Ribera Del Duero. It is situated 150 kilometers north of Madrid in the wine region of Rioja. The vineyard area is about 650 ha. The winery can hold about 50,000 oak barrels and there is a permanent stock of 9 - 10 million bottles.

The 12,500 square-metre facility has a production capacity of one million bottles per year. The building’s trefoil design expresses the three main stages of production: fermentation in steel vats; ageing in oak barrels; and finally, ageing in bottles.
