The Zeitwerkstadt is a new interactive museum dedicated to the history of the Free State of Saxony in Germany. Magnificent inventions and achievements are on display across more than 1,600 square metres.
The municipal collection comprises around 3,300 objects, with a focus on vehicle construction, carpet weaving and printing technology.
On display in the exhibition is the original printing press that printed the world's first daily newspaper according to today's standards in 1845.
In addition, there are exhibits from the fields of porcelain, metal, furniture, crafts, textiles, household goods and toys, as well as photographs, graphics and paintings.
