The distinctive Edificio Polivalente, the multi-purpose building of the Faculty of Pharmacy, stands on the campus of the University of Castile-La Mancha in Albacete, Spain. Around 60 students attend courses in the nine-million-euro building. Classrooms, offices, communication rooms and workshops are housed in a built area of 9,200 square metres.
The building is designed as a prism with a square base. Its façade, made of sandblasted LINIT® EcoGlass, is striking not only for its translucent appearance but also for the large rectangular cut-outs on all four sides.
