Sheikh Jaber Al Abdullah Al Jaber Al Sabah International Tennis Complex - Rafa Nadal Academy
Kuwait City, Kuwait

The Sheikh Jaber Al-Abdullah Al-Jaber Al-Sabah International Tennis Complex is one of Kuwait's most important sports facilities, combining top-class sport and leisure in a clearly structured campus. At its heart are large tennis arenas and numerous training courts, complemented by the Rafa Nadal Academy Kuwait, the headquarters of the Kuwait Tennis Federation, sports and fitness areas, and hospitality and service areas.
Architecturally, the 263,430 m² complex is designed as a coherent ensemble in which several buildings are grouped around the central arenas. The halls dominate the appearance with their horizontal design language. The central element is LAMBERTS LINIT©EcoGlass profiled glass, which floods the halls generously and evenly with daylight. The integrated translucent thermal insulation significantly reduces the direct effects of heat and responds to the extreme climatic conditions in Kuwait.
The Rafa Nadal Academy Kuwait, founded by 22-time Grand Slam winner Rafa Nadal, is an integral part of the overall complex and forms its performance-oriented core. It combines professional tennis training with fitness, regeneration, and education areas. Architecturally, it focuses on open training zones that promote exchange and community. At the same time, it utilizes the complex's high-quality infrastructure to provide young talents and ambitious recreational players with training under top international conditions.
