The OSK Offene Schule Köln (Open School Cologne / Germany) sees itself as an "inclusive school for all". It reinterprets the theme of the learning centre. The new school building is deliberately unfinished and invites people to play with and change it. The motto for this is the term "school workshop".
The aim was not to plan perfect architecture, but a robust school building - generous in terms of space, flexible in the use of the learning rooms and simple in terms of materials and construction.
