Lago Conference and Events
Rishon LeZion, Israel

The Lago complex is located on an artificial lake on the outskirts of the Israeli city of Rishon LeZion, close to one of Israel's main traffic arteries. It consists of a 1,600 square metre, seven-metre-high hall and a 700 square metre, luxuriously designed auditorium. The buildings are designed for conferences, large exhibitions, concerts and launch events and are equipped with modern amplifier and multimedia systems.
The architects were tasked with designing the two halls in a simple but striking style. The aim was to create iconic buildings with a clear presence on the surrounding streets. The architects therefore opted for simple geometric shapes and the use of expressive materials. Large concrete slabs were to contrast with white glass.
Low-iron LINIT®Ecoglass profiles provided exactly the elegant glass that had been envisaged. Sandblasted glass interior surfaces refract the light and scatter it inside. The resulting soft, whitish hue adds to the attractiveness of the façade. This effect is particularly striking when the event halls are illuminated from within.
