House of Social Services Pacov

Text description provided by the architects. The Social Services Centre in Pacov was designed as an extension to the existing retirement home. It is connected to the latter in terms of both operations and space. The concept for the entire building, as well as the layout and furnishings of the individual floors, enable comprehensive care for seniors suffering from Alzheimer's disease.

Barrier-free connections and clarity are fundamental. The building has been integrated into the existing urban fabric, with particular attention paid to its integration into the sloping terrain. The aim was to create a spacious but functionally clear space that inspires its users and captures their attention, while at the same time being easily accessible and legible.
