Fort York dates back to the late 18th century and is considered the birthplace of Toronto, Canada. It is the most important visual and cultural heritage site of British military and social history preserved in the city of Toronto.
The visitor centre aims to re-establish the site as part of Toronto's identity. At night, projections transform the building into a monumental art installation.
