Flens Arena Campus Hall
Flensburg, Germany

The Flens Arena is a multi-purpose hall built in 2001 and home to the SG Flensburg-Handewitt handball team. It is also used as an event location for numerous concerts, as a venue for trade fairs and for university sports. Initially, the arena was called Campus Hall, named after its location on the Flensburg university campus. In 2012, the current main sponsor of the hall, the Flensburg brewery, became the new namesake.
The Flens Arena has a maximum capacity of 6,300 seats. Its structure consists of two layers: a stone base and a contrasting glass cube above it. The double-shell outer skin made of LASMBERTS LINIT®EcoGlass profiled glass creates a light-diffusing, lively glass façade that appears to change its appearance depending on the time of day and the position of the sun.
