Entré Malmö
Malmö, Sweden

Opened in 2009, Entré Malmö is a shopping centre in the southern Swedish city of Malmö. Architect Greger Dahlström was inspired by the history of the location and Malmö's trademark as the ‘City of Light’ with its illuminated bridges, water towers and parks, and created a building flooded with light.
The glass façade is designed to reveal the commercial content of the building and be part of the vibrant city life. The site where Entré now stands was previously undeveloped and home to illuminated advertising hoardings for many years. This heritage has also been passed on: the entrance façade can change colour and be illuminated in different ways.
The north wall facing the motorway has two large clear glass windows that allow a view into the building, while the translucent surface of LAMBERTS LINIT®Ecoglass provides privacy and bright rooms.
The tempered profiled glass panels were perforated and fixed to the façade with point holders.
