DO@55 Stadtkrone Ost Dortmund

The commercial building @55 in Dortmund, built in 2002, is named after its location at Allee 55 in Stockholm. It is located in the Stadtkrone Ost industrial park, a former British Army barracks area that is now considered an exclusive residential area and an attractive location for IT and service companies.

550 square metres of space offer room for offices, restaurants and medical practices. The floors of the building are offset from each other, creating a terraced landscape that can be used as additional space if required.

Its outer shell is clad with horizontally installed LAMBERTS LINIT®Ecoglass profiled glass, which is held in place by metal guides and has its flanges facing outwards. This gives the @55 building more contour and an industrial look.

Transparent window strips are embedded on both sides of the ground floor. Here, the U-profile glass can be mechanically rotated around the horizontal axis, opening up the view to the outside.
