Centro Comercial Camaretas

The Centro Comercial Camaretas is located near Soria, just two kilometres from the city centre, and was opened in 2005. Covering a total area of 55,000 square metres, of which 25,000 square metres are available for commercial use, it offers a mix of shops, restaurants and leisure facilities. With over 80 shops, ten restaurants and eight cinemas, as well as 1,200 free parking spaces, it is an important destination for the region.

The architecture of the shopping centre reflects the traditional agricultural architecture of the region, taking its cue from the stone terraces that characterise the landscape around Soria. The distinctive, winding glass façade is made up of several layers on top of each other, which ties in with the natural features of the surrounding area. Particularly striking is the use of profiled glass, which envelops the different areas of the building in a kind of urban bubble, shaping the overall appearance of the complex.
